How do I apply Clarins Serum?

Wondering how to apply serum and how much serum to apply to your face? Simply pump a pea sized amount of product into your palm and warm between your hands. Lightly press the serum in a sweeping outward motion from the centre of your face, down your nose, jaw and up across your cheeks and forehead. Don’t forget your neck and decollete! Our Double Serum bottle is designed with two pre-measured doses so there’s no wastage and the pump delivers only the amount you need for your skin.

The benefits of Double Serum

Clarins Double Serum is a complete age control concentrate formulated to smooth wrinkles and even skin tone; leaving the skin looking more youthful and radiant.

  • It complements the effectiveness of your facial skincare regime
  • It stimulates the hydration, nutrition, oxygenation, protection and regeneration of the skin - these are all vital to the healthy function of skin

Do you use a serum before or after moisturiser?

A face serum is applied before moisturising in order to prepare the skin’s surface for daily care. A serum should be used once or twice daily in combination with your day and night creams - but always apply your serum before your moisturiser. The oil and water molecules in Double Serum are smaller than richer creams and moisturisers and penetrate into the deeper layers of skin. Think of your moisturiser as a layer to lock in that vital nutrition, hydration and protection.
