Originating from Asia, the kiwi is a fruit with a distinctive sharp flavour. It shares its name with the emblematic bird of New Zealand and became established in France in the 1970s. Very high in vitamin C, the kiwi also contains vitamins A, B, E and minerals which partly explains its reputation as a fruit for fighting fatigue.
